The Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit membership-driven organization promoting regional economic prosperity in communities along the Seattle-Tacoma business corridor.
Serving as the voice of business since 1953, the Federal Way Regional Chamber works on behalf of its broad and diverse membership. Comprised of business enterprises, civic organizations, educational institutions and individuals, the Greater Federal Way Chamber provides leadership for the growth of a prosperous regional economy as well as advocacy for our members.
As the voice of business, the Chamber connects its resources to businesses in the South Sound region. For us, it’s not only about where your company is located, it’s also about where you want to do business. And Federal Way is the smart economic choice.
The vision of the Greater Federal Way Chamber is to create economic prosperity in the South Sound region.
The Mission of the Greater Federal Way Chamber is to support business connection and to promote economic opportunities along the Seattle-Tacoma corridor.
We believe we are at a point of history where we can make a difference. From the Chamber’s perspective, the ability to make a difference is not a fixed point in time but a continuous opportunity to evolve, professionally and personally.
Recently, the Black Lives Matter movement was reignited with the death of George Floyd. The Chamber supports Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) and denounces the pattern of racial violence and the inequity of economic opportunity in our country.
Our “Work Together for the Greater Good” is more than a pablum-minded Chamber tagline for a program of inclusivity. It is a summation of a value statement that denounces violence as a means of conflict resolution. We use the tool of collaboration to condemn systemic racism as we work to level the playing field for economic opportunity.
Recognizing we do not stand on equal ground, the Chamber hosts a range of open business programs like our recent Access to Capital Summit. We are a membership organization that welcomes, supports, and promotes a network of businesses in the greater Federal Way area.
A business-focused organization, the Chamber will continue to reject any and all means of cultural, ethnic, or gender subjugation as it works to enhance economic prosperity in our region.
Hey, that's interesting!
If a company shows that it is highly involved in its local Chamber, consumers are 10% more likely to think that its products stack up better against its competition.
